ONMAKE Editor Ultra

Export, return, switching and erasure

Version 2026-11-04

Go to the request form

1. Content ownership and access

Customers retain their document rights. During the relationship they may use export functions and request assistance to return content entrusted to ONMAKE. Ordinary export attracts no exit fee, penalty or compulsory purchase of a proprietary format. GDPR portability remains separate and subject to its conditions without reducing contractual document rights.

2. Returnable content and formats

Return covers files held for the customer and relevant exportable data, including metadata necessary to make them usable and understandable, to the extent actually available. Common machine-readable formats are used, including retained originals, HTML and supported export formats. Conversion does not guarantee identical fonts, layout or functions. Copies of originals never uploaded or already lawfully erased are not promised.

Proprietary code, ONMAKE technical secrets, others' data and non-transferable third-party materials are excluded; exclusions must be narrow and must not improperly prevent use of customer content. Material technical limits are explained without using intellectual-property protection to withhold documents.

3. Ending the individual product

When Editor Ultra ends, the customer may recover saved documents from active systems free of charge, with read-only access, export and deletion, or through a secure alternative channel if ordinary access is unavailable. The ended plan does not generate charges merely for recovery. More favourable legal periods remain unaffected, including those for applicable switching.

Before final deletion ONMAKE communicates the planned date and recovery instructions. Restoration after deletion is not guaranteed. Customers may request earlier deletion, with a warning about irreversibility and without waiving legally required retention or their remedies.

4. Switching providers

Customers may request export, switching to another provider or transfer to their own infrastructure at info@onmake.it, identifying data, destination and contact. The parties agree a technical process, cooperate in good faith and ensure reasonable security and continuity. ONMAKE imposes no unlawful contractual, commercial or technical obstacles.

Where Editor Ultra includes a data processing service subject to Chapter VI of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854, mandatory switching rights also apply. The maximum notice period is two months; the ordinary transitional period is no longer than thirty calendar days after notice expires. Technical infeasibility must be explained within fourteen working days of the request, with an alternative period no longer than seven months. Customer extension rights and at least thirty days to retrieve data after transition remain available. The contract ends in accordance with statutory switching conditions, not before retrieval is made possible.

ONMAKE charges no specific switching or exit fees for ordinary export operations under this document, including before the Data Act's general switching-charge prohibition from 12 January 2027. Only lawfully accrued ordinary service fees and genuinely optional, requested and quoted additional work remain payable; they cannot be imposed to exercise mandatory rights. Functional equivalence of every destination-provider feature is not guaranteed.

5. Document and account deletion

Deleting a document removes the relevant active copy. It does not automatically erase downloaded originals, local sessions, previous exports or files published on third-party servers. The service must explain which copy is deleted. If an interface does not manage a category, support must enable an effective request without requiring whole-account deletion.

ONMAKE account deletion is separate, preceded by information about all affected products, subscriptions, recoverable data and legal retention. It requires express confirmation and an opportunity to export first. It must not substitute for cancelling one plan. Invoices and information necessary for obligations or claims remain as permitted by the privacy notice; the pseudonymous email digest is explained in document 03.

6. Backups, residual copies and confirmation

Backups of deleted data are deleted or overwritten within the periods ONMAKE communicates, with no access for ordinary use; a technical restore reapplies deletions to avoid reintroducing deleted data.

On request ONMAKE confirms return or deletion and identifies any residual copies. It does not claim to have deleted data on the user's devices, on third-party services the user chose (including AI providers) or subject to legal retention it cannot erase. For personal content professionally entrusted, the DPA and the controller's instructions also apply.
