ONMAKE Editor Ultra is the version of the suite in preparation: it will contain all of ONMAKE Editor Pro and add spreadsheets and tables, finished tables, even more than one on the same page, that will also work in HTML.

Verify

Open and check, without touching the file

The Verify section opens documents read-only: the file is never modified. It checks the digital signature and gives you a clear result.

PDF/A

Archive PDFs, compliant and verified

Creates PDF/A-1b, 2b, 2u and 3b: the file can be downloaded only when it is compliant and verified with veraPDF, the reference validator of the PDF Association, together with a compliance report. It also checks PDF/A compliance of any PDF opened in Verify.

Why it matters

So Linux users can work too

People who work on Linux have neither Word nor Excel. Today ONMAKE provides documents, PDFs and websites in the browser, on Linux as on Mac and Windows, with nothing to install. With Editor Ultra, spreadsheets will be there too.

On Mac and PC, the spreadsheet will open and be edited directly in the editor. The file will stay a real file, in its own format, that can be opened elsewhere too.

Where it starts

The foundation is already here: Editor Pro

Editor Ultra isn't starting from scratch: it builds on the editor that already opens and edits documents and PDFs today. Below are the three formats: two are already here, the third is the new one.

HTML and PDF already open and can be edited today in ONMAKE Editor Pro. Spreadsheets are yet to be built: they will come with Ultra.
